...and
finally the windows have been taken away from their last places...
As
a matter of sunny and rainy summer weather some had ”grown” into
the place. They had ”been settled” into space, as if they
certainly belong there.
And
that is exactly how it goes: we people get used to the surroundings
we live in. Things are accepted and meanings of objects might be
absorbed by ”automatic perspective”. After a while, we tend to
not see what we see. Now and then there could be a little ”why?”.
”Why is that there?” ”Who put it?” ”How did it occur?”
Even
the windowframes started to become objects, that were meant to be
there. In the last 8 weeks, many people might have walked by the one
or the other, in the end even people might have thought the windows
to be a part of the Pargas sight.
OR
NOT. Some thoughts might have poppep up again and again. As if the
windowframes were the ongoing reminders for told stories or shared
perspectives.
That
is the democratic way of living, too. To decide whether to make up
ones mind about something, that means: to take in the impuls from
outside , or not.
Now,
after the Districtwindows have been taken ”home” to the artists
yard, the places where they were standing have changed. They contain
of a lot more stories and ideas. They implement opinions and critics.
They seem to be more alive. Thanks to the people who shared their
perspectives with the public.
It
is a present given to a community. The more people open up their
thinking to friends and folks, the more deeper and bigger a district,
a community is growing towards all dimensions.
The
windowframes left, the open minds hopefully stay.
